According to IT Home, citing the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, Zhipu disclosed its next-generation large model plan at its 2026 semi-annual performance release conference.The company stated that the new generation of products will adopt a "large base" approach, but specific parameters have not yet been announced. Subsequent training will focus on the base during and after training.
Zhipu stated that its R&D focus is on fully leveraging the capabilities of the platform and ensuring the model can be practically deployed. The company has initiated preliminary research on the inference side of its next-generation model, aiming to support full-scale business calls on the first day of release.
