A few days ago, the number one usage ranking on OpenCode was no longer DeepSeek-V4-Flash, but an anonymous model called Ox Alpha.

On August 22, 2026, OpenCode released data showing that a newly launched anonymity model generated 2.6T tokens, surpassing DeepSeek-V4-Flash's 2.5T. OpenCode also posted that DeepSeek had held the top spot for 56 consecutive days, but was surpassed by Ox Alpha.

Many people guessed it was a Google model, but in the end, Zhipu claimed it as Niu Lai, and its official name is GLM-5.3-Flash.

What surprised me most was that all the online traffic of GLM-5.3-Flash was carried by 100,000 domestically produced chips. The model had a token call volume of up to 62 TB on the two major overseas platforms, OpenRouter and OpenCode. All of these request traffic was supported by the computing power of domestically produced chips.

Case 1: Turbofan Engine

The nighttime cross-section and explosive disassembly already had the impact of the demo video.

Case 2: Island Cities

Drag the timeline, and the windows of the houses will light up as night falls; switch to the fireworks night, and you can see fireworks blooming in the sky above the island.

I particularly like the design of clicking on buildings to read their stories. When I clicked on the church, I was surprised to find a short story about a bell ringer who was afraid of heights, which made exploring the island more interesting.

As a 3D interactive prototype, it is quite well-made.

Case 3 Pixel Adventure Game

An orange-gold accretion disk stretched across the screen, with a curved, bright arc above and below the black hole, and the stars in the background also formed arcs. I dragged the mouse to change the angle, and the shape and occlusion of the light bands changed accordingly, allowing me to observe the black hole from different angles.

When I move the mouse, the figures and background shift slightly, and the grid on the ground seems to move; these details combined create a sense of space on the page. The schedule, guests, and ticket types all use the same color scheme, which matches the overall design very well.

Case 6: Space Telescope Release Page

Scrolling down, the space telescope's primary mirror unfolds piece by piece, the lens then wraps around to the side of the telescope, continuing to demonstrate the deployment of the sunshade and solar panels. In the observation lab, you can select galaxies and switch observation bands. I switched from visible light to near-infrared; the galaxy image changed from cool blue to warm orange, and the background starlight changed accordingly.

Case 7 Music Visualizer

I tried three themes, and my favorite was the aurora mode. The turquoise halo combined with the particle trails gave it a live electronic music feel.

Case 8 Art Poster Generator

I changed the Chinese and English titles on the left and entered the date, and I could see the changes on the right. Then I switched templates and changed color schemes, and I could try out several designs for the same copy. My favorite is the stencil printing version, with blue halftone dots on off-white paper, a slightly pink misaligned title, and vertically arranged Chinese text next to it. After adjusting, I can also download high-resolution PNGs.

Case 9: 3D Delivery Game

Open the webpage, and you'll see a delivery rider carrying a yellow delivery box weaving through traffic, raindrops streaking across the camera lens, and the bike's headlights casting a bright glow on the road.

I really like the feedback after collecting packages: picking up packages consecutively increases the combo, and when you have enough energy, pressing Shift slows down the traffic, giving you time to avoid obstacles.

In this round of testing, GLM-5.3-Flash has proven capable of handling the prototype development of complex interactive web pages. The turbofan engine is particularly representative: the spatial positions of 16 components need to be arranged, the cutting and disassembly require controlling the display status, and dragging the throttle requires synchronously changing the animation and instruments.

The visual design also has its merits. The island city used a miniature model composition, the event website retained the layout of the posters, and the art poster editor simulated the texture of printing through halftone dots and color misalignment.

Different tasks require different approaches, and the model can select color schemes and presentation techniques based on the specific subject matter. For websites that need to showcase creativity, this is more useful than repeatedly applying a generic interface.
