Runway releases Solaris: Real-time frame-by-frame generation of interactive world models.
Runway has released its first Interface World Model, Solaris, which can generate interfaces in real time frame by frame based on clicks and drags, aiming to balance interaction speed and session consistency at 720p resolution.
Runway released Solaris, calling it the company's first Interface World Model.Instead of converting the design into code first, this model generates the interface frame by frame in real time based on the user's input such as clicks and drags, making the screen itself an interactive application.
Solaris is based on Runway's Gen-4.5 video model, with a focus on addressing real-time interaction, long session consistency, and 720p visual quality. Runway also acknowledges that stable text, reliable facts, long session consistency, and accessibility integration remain current limitations; the product is not yet fully publicly available, and only early access applications are open.
