What is Wan2.5?

Wan2.5 (Tongyi Wanxiang 2.5) is Alibaba's latest multimodal generative model, a preview version of Tongyi Wanxiang 2.5 (Wan2.5-Preview). It encompasses four main functions: text-to-video, image-to-video, text-to-image, and image editing. For the first time, it achieves synchronized audio and video generation, supporting high-definition 1080P, 24fps video creation and generating matching voices, sound effects, and music. The model can generate Chinese and English text, complex charts, and artistic posters, and supports one-click image editing. Based on a native multimodal architecture, the model allows creation to be driven by input prompts or audio, significantly lowering the creative threshold and making it widely applicable in advertising, e-commerce, film, and other fields. The model is now available on Tongyi Wanxiang and Alibaba Cloud's Bailian platform.
