The model transforms 2D character drawings into dynamic 3D animations while preserving the style and characteristics of the original artwork. It addresses the challenges of traditional 2D-to-3D conversion by using deep learning methods to identify and process outlines and fine structures in the drawing. DrawingSpinUp enables static drawings to freely rotate, jump, and even perform complex movements through viewpoint-dependent outline removal, skeletal-based deformation algorithms, and style restoration strategies.
