Ollama introduces a new token-based subscription plan, which existing users can choose to upgrade to.

Ollama has launched new Pro, Max, and Team subscription plans, with cloud model usage now reduced by the monthly usage amount based on the publicly disclosed price per token.Pro is $20 per month with a $60 credit limit, Max is $100 per month with a $300 credit limit, and Team is $500 per month with a $1000 shared credit limit.

The new plan removes the original 5-hour and weekly limits, allowing users to continue paying at the same token price after their quota is used up. Ollama explicitly stated that existing Pro, Max, and Team subscriptions will continue to operate under the original rules, and users can upgrade themselves in their account settings; the local hardware running model remains unaffected by cloud usage limits.
