xAI launched its first AI-programmable agent, Grok Build, a competitor to Claude Code. It supports parallel subagents, is compatible with existing workflows and MCP, and features a planned mode and in-device image and video generation capabilities. It is currently available to SuperGrok Heavy subscribers. Meanwhile, xAI is undergoing turmoil, with Musk merging it into SpaceX and changing its logo.
