Xiaomi Open Source Terminal AI Programming Assistant MiMo Code

Xiaomi's large-scale model team has open-sourced MiMo Code, a terminal AI programming assistant. It includes the MiMo-V2.5 model, which is available for a limited time and is free, and also supports mainstream models such as DeepSeek and Kimi. Key features include a unique persistent memory system, a Compose mode for fully automated development, regular memory organization via the /dream command, and voice input control. On the SWE-Bench Pro and Terminal Bench 2 benchmarks, it outperforms Claude Code with the same model.
