Tsinghua University's open-source OpenMAIC is China's first Level 4 AI classroom.

A research team from Tsinghua University has open-sourced OpenMAIC, China's first Level 4 AI classroom platform. Through multi-agent collaboration, the platform automatically generates interactive lessons from PDFs, papers, and other materials, equipped with AI teachers, teaching assistants, and virtual student roles, enabling features such as voice explanations, real-time interaction, and whiteboard annotation. Teachers upload materials, and the system automatically parses and generates courseware, quizzes, and PBL (Project-Based Learning) web pages, significantly reducing lesson preparation costs.
