Microsoft's GitHub Copilot announces a shift to pay-as-you-go billing.

GitHub Copilot announced that starting June 1st, it will switch to pay-as-you-go billing, replacing the fixed credit limit with AI Credits, and charging based on token consumption. The base subscription price remains unchanged: $10 per month for Pro and $39 per month for Pro+, both including equivalent Credits; code completion does not consume Credits. Enterprise subscriptions support a shared credit pool, and Business and Enterprise customers will receive additional promotional Credits from June to August. Annual subscribers will maintain their original billing until expiration.
