Anthropic releases Cowork: A Claude Code Assistant for Everyone

Anthropic has released Claude Cowork, a derivative version of its agent coding tool Claude Code, available to all users, including non-developers. The tool allows users to authorize Claude to access specified folders on their computer, enabling it to read, edit, and create files within them.
