ByteDance launches its latest video generation model, Seedance 2.5.

At the 2026 Volcano Engine FORCE conference, Seedance 2.5, a video generation model for Doubao (a type of digital video platform), was officially launched. The model is in the final stages of internal testing and is expected to launch in early July. It achieves three major global breakthroughs: 30-second direct output of a single native video segment, support for joint input of 50 full-modal reference materials, and support for localized, controllable editing. Seedance 2.5 can stably handle professional 3D asset creation, generating stable rendered videos from input white models with nearly 100,000 faces.
