SenseTime Open Source Daily Updates Series: Native Understanding and Generative Unified Model SenseNova U1

SenseTime has officially open-sourced its SenseNova U1 series native understanding and generation unified model. Based on its self-developed NEO-unify architecture, the model abandons the traditional piecemeal design, unifying multimodal understanding, inference, and generation within a single architecture. This open-source lightweight version, SenseNova U1 Lite, includes two specifications: an 8B dense network and an A3B MoE network. In multiple benchmark tests, including image understanding, generation and editing, and visual inference, it achieves state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance among open-source models of its size.
