Cursor launches Composer 2, an AI programming model.

Cursor has officially launched Composer 2, which is now available on Cursor. The model boasts cutting-edge coding capabilities and is priced at $2.50 per million input tokens, achieving an optimal balance between intelligence and cost. In CursorBench tests, Composer 2 significantly outperforms its predecessor and competitors; in the Terminal-Bench 2.0 benchmark, it scored 61.7%, surpassing Opus 4.6 (58.0%) and Composer 1.5 (47.9%).
