Kunlun Tech's open-source video generation model, SkyReels-V3, is reshaping the creation process.

Skywork AI, a subsidiary of Kunlun Tech, announced the open-sourcing of its video generation model, SkyReels-V3. The model integrates three main functions—reference image-to-video conversion, video extension, and audio-driven virtual avatars—in a single architecture. The image-to-video conversion technology surpasses mainstream models such as Vidu and Kling in reference consistency (0.6698) and visual quality (0.8119). Video extension supports shot transitions and narrative expansion. The virtual avatar module enables the generation of long videos with synchronized audio and video.
