OpenAI strikes again! It has reached an AI chip cooperation agreement with Broadcom.

OpenAI and custom ASIC vendor Broadcom announced a collaboration to jointly develop a 10-gigawatt custom AI accelerator. Broadcom will begin deploying the system in the second half of 2026 and complete it by the end of 2029. Following this news, Broadcom's stock price rose more than 10% during trading.
