Windsurf has been upgraded and renamed Devin Desktop

Cognition announced that Windsurf has been officially upgraded to Devin Desktop, transforming from an AI IDE into an Agent command center. The new version introduces Kanban for unified management of local and cloud agents, adds Spaces for cross-agent context sharing, and supports access to third-party agents such as Codex and Claude Agent via the ACP open protocol. The product retains full IDE capabilities, and existing users can automatically upgrade via OTA for zero-cost migration.
