Google launches Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash AI video generation model

Google has released Gemini Omni 1.1, a Flash video generation model that supports output at up to 4K resolution. The model allows for incremental expansion of existing videos in 10-second increments, with a maximum length of 40 seconds per video. Users can specify the first and last frames for smooth transitions and camera movements. The model supports multiple output levels from 360p quick preview to 4K ultra-high definition, increasing generation speed by 60% at only one-third the cost. It also supports incorporating reference videos up to 3 seconds long to maintain consistency between characters and scenes.
