Andrew Ng open-sources personal desktop agent "OpenWorker"

AI education pioneer Andrew Ng has open-sourced OpenWorker, a desktop agent project. Unlike typical chatbots, this tool emphasizes direct delivery of completed work results, autonomously utilizing local files and everyday office toolchains to complete tasks. The project prioritizes local availability and privacy protection; data is stored on the user's device by default, and users can freely switch the underlying model. OpenWorker currently supports macOS, and a Windows beta version is available for download.
