Step Image Edit 2, the next-generation image generation and editing model from Step Star, has been officially launched. With only 3.5B parameters, the model surpasses 12B-20B level open-source image editing models in real-world performance, generating images in just 0.5-2 seconds per pass. It ranks first among lightweight image editing models on the KRIS-Bench leaderboard. The model supports image generation and editing, Chinese and English rendering, local editing, visual reasoning, style transfer, and other functions, covering scenarios such as IP creation, poster design, and portrait beautification.
