Tencent's Hunyuan platform launched Hyra, the first general-purpose scientific discovery agent that supports recursive self-improvement. Hyra surpasses Recursive systems in three AI R&D benchmarks; it breaks 29 historical best records on 55 open mathematical problems, and designs an adder with 58% fewer parameters, a quantum routing algorithm with 44% higher efficiency, and anti-cancer molecule candidates that outperform marketed drugs.
