ByteDance's AI assistant, Doubao, has launched a paid subscription service, offering three tiers: a standard version at ¥68/month, an enhanced version at ¥200/month, and a professional version at ¥500/month. A free basic version remains available for daily use. The paid features are currently in the testing phase. According to data from QuantumBit Think Tank, Doubao's daily active users exceeded 140 million in April, a 21% increase month-over-month, with approximately 50 million monthly downloads, firmly maintaining its leading position in the domestic AI assistant market, significantly ahead of competitors such as Qianwen and Yuanbao.
