Zhipu has launched and open-sourced GLM-5.2, focusing on coding and long-term tasks.

Zhipu Technology has launched and open-sourced its GLM-5.2 model, ranking first among available models globally in Code Arena's front-end evaluation. Designed specifically for long-duration tasks, the model supports 1M lossless context and performs close to Claude Opus 4.8 on benchmarks such as FrontierSWE. GLM-5.2 introduces effort-level control, optimizes and reduces FLOPs through the IndexShare architecture, and is natively compatible with domestic computing power such as Huawei Ascend.
