Alibaba DAMO Academy unveils its open-source architecture CPU powerhouse: XuanTie C950

Alibaba DAMO Academy launched its new generation flagship RISC-V CPU IP—XuanTie C950. It achieved a score exceeding 70 in the SPECint2006 benchmark, becoming the world's most powerful RISC-V CPU. The product is the first to achieve native, smooth execution of large-scale models with hundreds of billions of parameters (Qwen3, DeepSeek V3) on a native RISC-V CPU. It integrates a 4K ultra-wide Vector engine and a Matrix engine, achieving a single-core computing power of 8 TFLOPS.
