Musk open-sources X platform recommendation algorithm

Elon Musk announced the official open-sourcing of x-Algorithm, the core recommendation algorithm code for the X platform (formerly Twitter), making it the first mainstream social platform to fully disclose its traffic distribution logic. The new algorithm adopts the same Transformer architecture as xAI's Grok model, achieving "zero manual feature engineering" and relying entirely on the model to autonomously learn user interaction history to predict content relevance.
