DeepSeek has released the official version of DeepSeek V4 Pro, which is now available on its app, web platform, and API. This version features significantly enhanced agent capabilities, demonstrating excellent performance on benchmark datasets such as Terminal Bench and DeepSWE. The API now natively supports the OpenAI Responses API format and is compatible with Codex; three new thinking modes—low, high, and max—are now available.
