Top in the world! Baidu's latest open-source model, PaddleOCR-VL

Baidu's self-developed multimodal document parsing model, PaddleOCR-VL, topped the HuggingFace Trending charts globally within just 16 hours of its release. With only 0.9B parameters, the model is lightweight and efficient, accurately recognizing various complex elements such as text, handwritten Chinese characters, and tables, and supports 109 languages.
