Thunderbird Innovations, a domestic AR smart glasses company, announced the completion of a new round of financing exceeding 1 billion yuan, co-led by China Mobile Chain Builder Fund and CITIC Jingshi, with participation from a fund under China Unicom. This marks the first time a domestic telecom operator has entered the smart glasses sector as a strategic investor. After the transaction, China Mobile holds a 7.92% stake.
