Dark Side of the Moon has officially launched its most powerful model to date, Kimi K3, boasting 2.8 trillion parameters and being the world's first open-source model with over 3 trillion parameters. Kimi K3 is built upon a KDA hybrid linear attention mechanism and attention residual technology, natively supporting visual understanding, with a context window of up to 1 million tokens. In benchmarks for programming, general agents, visual agents, and knowledge work, Kimi K3 has demonstrated cutting-edge performance, surpassing GPT-5.6 Sol and Claude Fable 5 in some projects.
