Only 4B! Alibaba's most powerful visual model from 1000 Questions is now open source.

Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen team has launched the Qwen3-VL series 4B and 8B versions, offering Instruct and Thinking versions. The new versions have low resource requirements, maintain core capabilities, and demonstrate excellent multimodal performance, surpassing top-tier models in the same class such as Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite and OpenAI GPT-5 Nano in multiple benchmark tests, and even comparable to Alibaba's previous flagship model, Qwen2.5-VL-72B.
