Tencent Hunyuan open-sources the Hy-MT2 translation model and Hy translation mini-program.

Tencent's Hy-MT2, a next-generation large-scale translation model, is open-sourced and available in three sizes: 1.8B, 7B, and 30B-A3B. It supports translation between 33 languages and 5 minority languages/dialects. The 7B and 30B-A3B sizes achieved the best performance among open-source models in multiple evaluations. The Tencent Hy Translation mini-program was also launched, supporting voice input, customizable translation styles, and offline translation. iOS and Android apps will be available soon.
