Mistral's open-source Devstral 2 series of large models includes versions 123B and 24B, both supporting a 256K context. The models achieved high scores of 72.2 and 68.0 respectively on the SWE-bench Verified, reaching top-tier performance among open-source products, while their size is significantly smaller than competing offerings. The accompanying Vibe CLI tool integrates model capabilities into the terminal, supporting operations such as scanning project structure, invoking commands, and automatically generating code changes.
