Runway has released its latest video generation AI model, Gen-4.5, codenamed "David".

Runway officially released its Gen-4.5 video generation model, which topped the Artificial Analysis leaderboard under the anonymous name "Whisper Thunder (aka) David." Gen-4.5 sets new standards in motion quality, cue word adherence, and visual realism, achieving an ELO score of 1247, surpassing mainstream models such as Veo 3/3.1, Kling 2.5, and Sora 2 Pro. It boasts accurate physics simulation capabilities, complex scene construction, and cinematic visual quality, and supports multiple control modes.
