Meta acquires AI agent company Dreamer

Meta has acquired AI startup Dreamer and its team, founded by Hugo Barra, former global vice president of Xiaomi, and others. Dreamer helps users create AI agents. The Dreamer team will join Meta's Super Intelligence Lab to lead AI agent development. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, but investors will receive a return exceeding their investment. Dreamer will retain its independent legal entity status, and Meta will obtain a non-exclusive technology license.
