WeChat is conducting a small-scale test of its native AI assistant, "Xiaowei".

WeChat's "Xiaowei" AI assistant has launched a limited beta test. Users can access it via a green eye icon in the upper left corner of the main interface. Xiaowei supports text or voice commands to operate native WeChat functions, including adjusting settings, sending messages, launching mini-programs, and generating images. The main model is WeChat's self-developed WeLM, with some responses utilizing DeepSeek. Xiaowei also has the ability to generate mini-programs from a single sentence.
