Google has launched Pics, an AI-powered image creation and editing tool that supports object segmentation, text editing and translation within images, multi-user collaboration, and multi-result generation. It will also be integrated with Docs, Slides, and Drive.
Google launches Google Pics, an AI-powered image creation and editing tool.This product is based on the Nano Banana image generation and editing model. It can generate and modify images through text prompts and provides functions such as object segmentation, local editing, text modification and translation in images, multi-person collaboration, and generating multiple candidate results at once.
Google Pics will be offered as a standalone product, while also being integrated into Google Workspace. Integration with Docs and Slides has begun rolling out, with Drive integration to follow in the coming weeks; the standalone product is being rolled out in batches to Google AI Pro, Ultra subscribers, and most Workspace business customers.
