Cursor launches early testing of its Origin code hosting platform, integrating code repositories, pull requests, code browsing, and agent collaboration into Cursor.
Origin supports creating new hosted repositories and syncing GitHub repositories; projects synced from GitHub still use GitHub as the source. This feature will be gradually rolled out to paid plan users starting August 17, 2026, and enterprise organization administrators can opt out.
