The Codex team has identified three types of usage anomalies and plans to fix and reset paid subscription usage.
Tibo, head of OpenAI Codex, said the team has identified the additional overhead caused by long session image processing, high quantile usage in Computer History, and session title generation, and plans to launch a fix and reset the usage of all paid subscriptions.
Tibo, head of OpenAI Codex, stated that the team has identified three types of factors that may cause abnormal usage:Image processing efficiency during long sessions involving multiple context compressions, high perturbation usage of the Computer History feature, and additional overhead from the session title generation feature.
The team stated that they will focus on rolling out the relevant fixes and perform a full usage reset for all paid subscriptions; another efficiency improvement plan is scheduled to follow. The original statement used the planned tense, therefore the fixes and reset should not be described as being fully completed.
