Anthropic releases a preview of its Model Hardware Standard research.This project attempts to establish a model-agnostic universal specification that enables AI agents to operate programmable physical devices through MCP.
Currently, the project is only providing a research preview to the first batch of labs and hardware manufacturers. Anthropic stated that it still needs further refinement before being open-sourced, therefore this is not an official open-source release.
