Anthropic Open Source Claude Commerce Agents Reference Blueprint

This blueprint includes consumer-side shopping agents and merchant-side operational agents, with example scenarios covering retail, travel, telecommunications, and entertainment. Developers can integrate data, tools, and industry processes on this foundation, rather than directly obtaining a complete commercial product.
The reference implementation uses the Apache-2.0 license and demonstrates plugins, policy guardrails, and a manual verification mechanism for high-impact operations. It is positioned as a scalable starting point for engineering; however, production deployment still requires enterprises to implement their own security, authorization, and business logic verification.
